What We Do
Testing your electrical appliances. Saving lives by reducing fires & reducing electric shocks. Covering Class 1, Class 2, and Class 2 with functional earth, Testing 110V construction site appliances, Industrial, commercial and domestic appliances used by the public, including schools, hotels, medical, offices and shops. Mobile or Fixed 230V single phase appliances 13A & fixed appliances where possible also 415V 16A, 32A, 3, 4 & 5 pin, three phase appliances tested.
WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HAVE PAT TESTING DONE?
- Portable Appliance Testing is a cost effective independent system of maintaining, inspecting and testing electrical appliances as recommended by the Health and Safety Executive. It meets the legal requirements of:- • The Health and safety at Work Act 1974 • The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 • The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 • The Electricity at Work Regulations 1998 The frequency of testing used is that recommended by the Institute of Electrical Engineers Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and testing of electrical equipment. Or PAT Testing as its become known as & is well recommended by most insurance companies.
